Under the Sea Success
Last week at SMASH, the ocean came to life as our Sparks and Rising Stars groups dived into the enchanting world of The Little Mermaid. It was a week filled with fun, learning, and lots of singing, which ended in a fantastic showcase where everyone truly shined.
The campers immersed themselves in the beloved story of The Little Mermaid, exploring its vibrant characters and memorable songs. Thanks to the dedicated guidance of our instructors, Ashley and Mackenzie, each camper was able to bring something unique to their role, whether they were part of the bubbly sea creatures or the royal entourage.
The week culminated in fun and energetic performances where families were invited to see the result of the campers' hard work. The stage was alive with the energy of the sea as our young performers sang and danced their hearts out. The rendition of The Little Mermaid by our Sparks and Rising Stars was not only a display of their new skills but also a testament to their passion for musical theatre.
The success of last week's camp is just the beginning. We look forward to more themed camps and encourage anyone interested in exploring the world of musical theatre to join us. It’s a wonderful opportunity to learn, grow, and perform, all while having a great time.
A special thank you goes out to our junior helpers—Everleigh, Melanie, Ailee, Trinity, and Liz. Their leadership and enthusiasm were pivotal in creating a supportive and fun environment for the younger campers. Their ability to lead by example and encourage the campers to perform their best was inspiring. Thank you to everyone who made our The Little Mermaid camp a resounding success.
