Registration Now Open for SMASH Musical Theatre’s 2024/2025 Season
Exciting news from SMASH Musical Theatre! We are thrilled to announce that registration for our 2024/2025 season, starting this September, is now open. This year brings some exciting updates as we continue to grow and enhance our training programs.
What’s New This Season?
Senior Mainstage Program Enhancements: Our talented teens have stepped up as the Senior Mainstage group. To better match their growing skills and maturity, we’ve extended their class duration to 2.5 hours. This extra time allows for more in-depth dance training and a greater focus on character development and choreography.
Rising Stars Program Changes: The Rising Stars are set for a dynamic year as well. Moving away from a single junior musical, this group will now prepare for and perform two shorter "kids" musicals. This change is designed to enhance skill development across the board, ensuring every young performer gets a chance to delve into character creation and line learning, while also understanding the critical role of ensemble work.
Studio Expansion: We’re also expanding our physical space to include two fully functional rehearsal areas. This development means simultaneous sessions for different groups, allowing for more specialized training and increased face-to-hand time with our instructors.
Saturday Recreational Programs: Don’t forget our Saturday recreational programs! Perfect for those looking for a lighter commitment, these classes continue to offer top-notch training in a more flexible format.
Payment Made Easy: To ease the financial burden, all our performance programs are billed as an annual cost, divided into ten equal payments. Although classes run only until the end of May, we include June in the installments to spread out the cost evenly throughout the year.
