All SMASH Performance Programs are a FULL 10 MONTH commitment and there are NO refunds if you withdraw before the year-end performance. Please enroll in one of our recreational programs if you are looking for an exciting class, but with a lighter commitment.
SMASH Sparks
(Ages 7-9)
Welcome to SMASH Sparks, the perfect place for young talents to ignite their love for musical performance! Our 10 month program, designed for students aged 7-9, offers an exciting journey into the enchanting world of musical theatre. Through a dynamic curriculum of theatre games, improv, acting, singing, and movement, we provide a comprehensive foundation for budding performers.
But here's the best part: at the end of the program, our Sparks students get to experience the thrill of performing a full-fledged Jr. musical on a grand stage with all the SMASH kids, complete with dazzling costumes, stunning set designs, mesmerizing lighting, and an audience filled with friends and family. It's a truly magical moment that brings their hard work and dedication to life, allowing them to showcase their talents and immerse themselves in the joy of performing.

Rising STARS
(Ages 9-12)
Step into the spotlight with SMASH's warm and welcoming Rising Stars Program! This 10 month class is specially designed for enthusiastic students aged 9-12 who are passionate about the captivating world of musical theatre. While there are no specific admission requirements, we do encourage students to have some experience with singing and dancing, such as through our recreational dance and theatre programs. This prior exposure lays a solid foundation and enriches the learning experience within the Performance Program. With the guidance of our dedicated instructors, students will delve into stage directions, improv skills, theatre vocabulary, singing techniques, and choreography. They'll gain a comprehensive understanding of all the elements that contribute to a sensational musical performance! At the end of the year, students will have the thrilling opportunity to collaborate with our SMASH Sparks program and bring a Jr. musical to life on our mainstage! Picture yourself shining under the spotlight, surrounded by talented performers, mesmerizing costumes, and an audience full of proud family and friends. Intermediate TEENS
(Ages 13+)

Advanced SENIORS
(Ages 16+ by Audition or Invitation Only)
Welcome to the prestigious Mainstage Senior Performance program at SMASH, exclusively designed for talented students aged 16+ who have a profound love for musical theatre! This year-long class offers a comprehensive exploration of stage directions, improv skills, theatre vocabulary, singing technique, and choreography—providing you with all the essential elements that bring a musical to life! This program is dedicated to advanced musical theatre performers, and entrance is by audition or invitation only.
To ensure a fulfilling experience, we recommend that students entering this program possess some prior experience. It is essential to have a foundation in singing, dancing, and acting, which can be acquired through previous training or participation in theatre productions. We welcome new, hard-working performers who are eager to take their skills to the next level.
