What is SMASH?
SMASH is a Musical Theatre school in White Rock / South Surrey specializing in singing, acting, and dance! Many children dream of performing on stage; and some kids just want to be a part of something special. SMASH is a place to grow and learn in the creative arts. Students start at their own individual level, building on their unique talents and skill set as the program progresses. We want to help our students build confidence, self-esteem, and friendships. Our main goal is to foster a warm, supportive, and nurturing learning environment so that students may feel safe to take risks and to stretch their unique skills in creative expression. We encourage 100% support from all participants towards their peers to allow for the freedom to explore.

PERFORMANCE Programs
Be a part of a Mainstage Musical at SMASH!
In this intensive, 10 month programme, students study acting, singing and movement, through improv, theatre sports, scene study, dance and much more. By perfecting their skills attained during class, students will be able to perform with confidence in a full-length SMASH musical at year end. In this class, we aim to show children, and parents, that there are no small parts, and that the journey to the stage is the best part!
Please note: this programme is a FULL 10 MONTH musical theatre commitment, with no refunds for those that withdraw part way through the programme as we cannot fill the spot!
Recreational CLASSES
These Musical Theatre classes in Surrey are perfect for those that want to learn skills that are taught in the performance programme, but want a lighter commitment. Students will study acting, singing and movement, through improv, theatre sports, scene study, and more. Each term, students will focus on a few scenes from one musical and will end the 10 weeks with an intimate in house performance for their families.
Like all classes at SMASH , all skill levels are welcome!
SMASH Dance
At SMASH, we currently offer recreational dance classes in Tap, Jazz, and ballet in White Rock / South Surrey. Our classes are non-competitive and open to all students 3-5, and 9+. We welcome any student who has always wanted to dance to enhance their lives with rhythm and music. Whether you are a musical theatre student wanting to supplement your experience or a new student who would just love to be a part of SMASH.
Join one of our dance classes if you have a desire to work and be pushed to a new level of dance in a fun, non-competitive environment.
